As the agency rounds our 17th year in business, some change is afoot, as is always inevitable in life, in business, in the world.

“We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves; otherwise, we harden.”

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Sometimes in the course of agency life, you take a step back and assess where you are and where you’ve come from. Jeff has been a part of Antidote 71 and its predecessors (JD Gordon Design, JD Gordon Advertising & JDG Creative Labs) for over 17 years. Over that time, we’ve grown, evolved and changed—all for the better for the agency and our clients.

But we’ve also grown further away from Jeff’s core passion of traditional design and creative as the world becomes more and more digital, and driving client growth rises to the forefront. (Though never at the sacrifice of great creative!) As we continue to grow and evolve, Jeff has decided to take a step back to his roots and form his own creative studio to focus on design, video, and photography.

We’re excited to see where he takes this new venture, and will be rooting for him all the way! He’ll still be working with Antidote 71 over the next several months, transitioning to focus on his own creative studio full-time mid-year. And of course, we’ll work with him on a project basis as needed moving forward. So he’s not really leaving. Just changing his relationship to us, our agency, and our clients.

And of course, nothing will change with the services we offer our clients here at A71. From design and foundational marketing, to digital, social and traditional content that drives traffic and leads for our clients, we’ll stay the course and continue on our journey, offering creative, innovative solutions for our clients.

So for now, nothing is really changing. But Jeff and Antidote 71 are on a journey over the next several months that will allow for exciting growth for everyone. And we wish him the best in his new endeavor.

“In life, change is inevitable. In business, change is vital.”

Warren G. Bennis, Author

One of our traditions is to always add Election Day as a company holiday, and we're doing the same this year in spite of the pandemic. Why?
When you're partway through summer intern interviews, and a pandemic hits, what do you do? You assess your situation, and improvies. A lot.
