We’re back with another meet the team post! If you saw our last one, then you’ll know the premise. All of our new hires get sent a list of questions to answer honestly. No right or wrong answers; just theirs. It’s always fun to read their answers! This time around we’re excited to introduce you to our new Account Supervisor! Without any further ado, meet Jessica Simons!
Where are you from? Originally from the Quad Cities area (born in Davenport and moved to a small town outside of Moline, IL for High School). I moved to Des Moines for college and stayed there until we moved to Sioux City in 2014. I’ve just slowly made my way across Iowa.
If you could only eat one food for the next year, what would it be? If you’ve been to lunch with me, you already know the answer to this question… chicken Caesar salad 🙂
How do you get rid of stress? Time with family and friends, a long bike ride or binge-watching reality TV shows
How do you learn new skills? (classes, self-taught, just jump in and try it, etc.) A combination of a few different methods I would say. I like being able to see if I can figure it out on my own, but I also enjoy learning from those that know more than I do on a given topic, whether that’s through a class, reading articles or just talking through an issue with someone else.
Coffee? Tea? Water? Energy Drink? Something else? What do you consume the most of (beverage wise)? Water followed by coffee and wine.
What’s your favorite smell in the whole world? That one thing that if you smell it you just stop what you’re doing and savor it… Lilacs
What’s your favorite sound? Indy cars running full speed around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Naps. Pro or con? Con for me. I wish I liked them, but I usually wake up feeling worse/more tired than before I fell asleep.
Does pineapple belong on pizza? Yes, just not on mine.
Jessica is a bright person and great with people. She brings a lot of efficiency to our team and we all love working with her. Welcome to Antidote 71, Jessica!
